How to Clear Chrome Cache and Cookies

Over time your Chromebook may become slow, laggy, and unresponsive due to tabs being left open, the amount of website data being saved, and extensions being used. It is necessary to clean out and refresh your Chromebook memory from time-to-time. Like anything, your Chromebook needs a break. Turn it off every so often...not just shut the lid. Clear History and Cache

On your computer, open Chrome.

At the top-right, click More.

Click More tools Clear browsing data.

At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.

Next to 'Cookies and other site data' and 'Cached images and files', click the boxes.

Click Clear data.

Hard Reset Your Chromebook

For most Chromebooks, follow the steps below:

Turn off your Chromebook.

Press and hold Refresh + tap Power.

When your Chromebook starts up, release Refresh.
